Aida Lilliana is now known as "Lilly" - and couldn't be happier with her new family! She loves her big Setter brother Bucky, and adores her mom and dad (John & Annie)!
Lilly enjoys long bike rides with her mom - in fact, as soon as she sees the ol' bike helmet come out, she spins and spins with glee... she can hardly wait for Annie to GET MOVING! Annie's worked hard to require Lilly to sit still and quiet before they leave the house... no small task with this cute little wiggle wart.
Lilly also enjoys LOTS of fun outdoor time with her dad and brother! Haha, I think Lilly's mom, Annie, has become a one-woman-critter-rescue machine... as she's saved more than a couple of baby robins, rabbits, etc from the clutches of her speedy Setters!
Both John & Annie have worked diligently on Lilly's recall - and as of late, she's made great strides!+Snodgrass+4.jpg)

I'm HOME!!!!!
I went on a very long car ride today, Saturday, March 21st, but OH! was it worth it. See I found my forever family. Well, actually, truth be told, they found me. But it doesn't matter who found who, I'm HOME!!!!
I heard so many nice things about them, I just couldn't wait to give them the famous "Setter Hug"!

I'm a Playful Puppy
This is not your ordinary puppy from rescue. She is an owner surrender pup, that was loved and well taken care of. She has puppy obedience training, but obviously will need more as time goes one. Here is what her foster mom has to say along with new pictures. How can you resist a face like this?
Aida is a wonderfully loving little Setter girl! Her former family loved her very much - and started her in puppy obedience training. She knows several commands, but will need continued consistency to maintain and improve her training as she ages. Aida truly reflects her previous loving home - she's very affectionate!
Aida loves playing with other doggies, toys - and really likes tug-o-war with her foster sister! She is very active, true to her age, but not overly hyper - she likes to know where you are, and be with you when possible. She melts like butter when you let her put her head under your chin, or give her kisses on her head.
Her sweet little personality can be very persuasive. Somehow she talked me into letting her sleep in the bed with me (and her 2 foster sisters) last night - she slept like a dream. Aida's former home had a doggy door - and Aida would excuse herself outdoors to do her business when she needed to. I unfortunately, do not have a doggy door - so I did take all 3 dogs out to potty about midway through the night, but probably more as a precaution than necessity... I'll continue to monitor that department.
Aida will crate pretty easily, and after a few minutes of mild wimpering... she settles down quietly. After a short period of initial excitement, she also settles down quietly in the car - and sleeps most of the drive.
Aida is not super birdy - in fact, I have 3 busy bird feeders in my back yard, and she notices the birds... but had rather zip around the yard and play with her foster sisters (or me.) Her previous mom said she loves to chase squirrels!
Inside, Aida is a chewing machine - she will definitely need a batch of age appropriate chew toys, (her previous family provided her favorites - and she loves them!) Her forever home will also need to puppy-proof everything within Aida's range. As with most youngsters, Aida counter / bed / table surfs for anything that might peak her interest... haha, she brought me my hair comb this morning! :)
Aida's formerly family mentioned that she would dig - and I've noticed her burying several of her toys (haha) in my gravel flowerbed, so she will need patience and consistency to overcome the urge to dig.
One final note for now - when browsing Aida's photos, you'll see that she has very light (pink) eyelids and nose... she is a fair skinned Setter. Obviously very fair skin will burn, even on doggies - so Aida will need to avoid lengthy exposure to direct sun... or her little eyelids might burn! :)
Let Aida stroll into your family and show you all the love she is freely giving us.

I Make a Big Impression

I just got into foster care and my foster mom is in love with me. Read what she has to say. "Aida is PRECIOUS!!!! :) Oh my goodness, granted I've only been with her one day - but I have never seen a Setter more people oriented (especially a youngster!), she is interested in my dogs and runs and plays, but what she loves best is to have snuggles (and kisses) on her face and head. She eats it up with a spoon!!! She is VERY VERY loving! Rides like an absolute DREAM in the car."
Just think what I can do if we met. I know you would feel the same way. Better hurry up, I might become a "failed foster" if I stay here too long. :o)

Aida Lilliana's Story
I've been a pet in a loving home with other fur siblings. I'm going to be a year old in a few weeks. My family has to give me up. I really want to find a loving home with other doggies to play with me.
I really would like to have others to play with. After all, it wouldn't be any fun by myself, now would it.
Having a snuggler partner would be nice too.
I'm just a petite girl for now. I may have growing left in me.
